 ety)\n\nAs Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) like Adaptive Cruise 
 Control (ACC) become increasingly common, understanding how drivers intera
 ct with these systems is essential for maximizing the safety benefits. A m
 ulti-site driving simulator study was conducted to examine the relationshi
 p between ACC knowledge and performance, behavioral, and subjective measur
 es. Sixty-five participants completed three drives to probe their knowledg
 e and understanding of ACC. Random forest models were used to identify out
 come measures associated with mental model scores. Results showed that eye
 -glance behaviors such as glance frequency, dispersal, and attention ratio
 s towards AoIs were strong predictors of ACC knowledge. Subjective factors
 , such as trust, perceived workload, and technology acceptance, as well as
  demographics like age and driving experience, were also relevant. Models 
 tailored to specific driving contexts outperformed generalized models, sug
 gesting the value of context-specific assessments. These findings highligh
 t the importance of using targeted, multimodal measures to assess ADAS und
 erstanding and to inform future training and evaluation strategies.\n\n
