 on trends project the doubling of the aging population in the next 30 year
 s. This puts a burden on current social, economic, and healthcare systems 
 and poses concerns for these systems to support the aging population. Than
 kfully, technological advances in robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI
 ) provide the potential to alleviate many of these issues with their abili
 ty to augment Activities of  Daily Living (ADL), transportation and medica
 l support. In addition to their potential, the use of robotics and AI pose
  numerous challenges and concerns that researchers and healthcare practiti
 oners must consider (e.g., ethical concerns and resource allocation). Grea
 ter understanding of these areas will facilitate research and benefit the 
 aging population. In this panel, we bring together experts in this area to
  highlight what is known in the field of aging, robotics, and AI, and to p
