Mansoor Nasir
Biography
Dr. Nasir is a recognized expert in the field of Driver Monitoring and Human Factors at Ford Motor Company. With a strong background in user-centered design and physiological monitoring, he played an integral part in the development of custom algorithms for detection of driver drowsiness and distraction features in production vehicles. His past research in government and academic laboratories have focused on using innovative design and applying engineering principles to enhance healthcare technologies and point-of-care diagnostics. He got his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and Doctorate in Bioengineering from University of California, Berkeley. He is an active member of the advisory board at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield MI, where he was also a full-time faculty before his recent roles in industry.
