Presenter

Elena Zhang is a Ph.D. student in the Human-Automation Collaboration (HAC) Lab at Rice University, working under the guidance of Dr. Jing Chen. She specializes in human factors and human-computer interaction. Her research focuses on the human factors of operating unmanned aerial vehicles for delivery and transportation, aiming to promote safety and innovation. She is also involved in multiple student organizations and design competitions (her team won second place in the 2025 Student mHealth App Competition of the HFES International Healthcare Symposium).
