John Lee (University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA) is Emerson Electric Quality & Productivity Professor and his research focusses human-automation and human-AI interaction. He will describe a recent framing of trust in automation that focusses on the interdependence of the human-AI team and the implications for AI alignment and trust (Chiou and Lee, 2023).
