Qian Zhang, assistant Professor from System Engineering, College of Charleston. Qian Zhang did her postdoc at Hoston Methodist Hospital in Texas in 2022, and received her Ph.D. Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from State University of New York at Buffalo (2017-2022). She went on for graduate study to the M. S. in Automotive Engineering, Jilin University, Changchun (China) (2011-2014), after earning a B. A. in Mechanical Engineering from Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou (China) (2007-2011). She is the reviewer for the Journal of IEEE Human-Machine Systems, Virtual Reality, and International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction. Her previous research concentrated on physical workload measurement in occupational safety. Her current research focuses on Human-robot collaboration, medical device development, and wearable technologies. She is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and American Society of Safety Professionals.
