Dr. Brian Pugliese is an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at Rowan University, specializing in human factors psychology. He focuses on understanding and preventing unintentional injuries through accident analysis and behavioral research. Primarily applied in the transportation sector, his work has heavily focused on heavy vehicle safety, automation, attention, and pedestrian safety. His most recent work integrates core concepts from our understanding of human error and accident analysis with health-oriented research on pedestrian safety.
