Bassam Safi Alabbas is a PhD student in Human Computer Interaction Engineering and Industrial and Manufacturing Systems. He completed his Master's in Human Computer Interaction from the same university in 2024. Since 2016, he has been a lecturer in the Information Technology Department, College of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Jeddah. Al-Abbas holds a Bachelor's in Information Technology from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He also has professional certifications, including Cisco Networking Certifications and an IBM Professional Certificate in Data Science. His research focuses on enhancing human-AI collaboration, developing intelligent systems for team format that balance automation and human supervision, and addressing cognitive factors in technology-enhanced learning experiences.
