PD Dr. habil Johanna Abendroth is a postdoctoral researcher at the German Naval Institute of Maritime Medicine, Germany. She obtained her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Kassel and her habilitation from the University of Wuerzburg. Her research focuses on mental fitness of soldiers, cognitive performance, and fatigue management within the design of watchkeeping schedules in naval settings. In addition, she does research on language processing, as well as on the comprehension of conflicting and false information.
