Constanza Sanchez Peral

Biography
Constanza Sanchez Peral is a graduate student at San Jose State University studying Human Factors and Ergonomics with a focus on UX. With a background in clinical psychology and neuropsychology, she has worked in both healthcare and educational settings, supporting individuals with cognitive and emotional challenges. Wanting to make a broader impact, Constanza became passionate about bridging psychology and technology to design tools that are both accessible and inclusive, specily in healthcare. She is especially interested in how technologies can improve access to care, adaptability, emotional engagement, and decision-making support. Her current research investigates usability and design challenges in VR-based interventions for children with autism spectrum disorder, with the goal of developing evidence-based guidelines for more effective therapeutic tools.
