Professor Calvin K. L. Or received his BEng, MSc, and PhD degrees in Industrial Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Mississippi State University, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, respectively. His research focuses on the development, implementation, and assessment of smart health information technology and other healthcare interventions to create scientific knowledge about their effectiveness and safety. The aims of his research are to improve human-technology-process interaction in order to enhance the performance, safety, and health of patients and care providers as well as quality of care.
