Zhipeng Lu

Biography
Dr. Zhipeng Lu is the Julie & Craig Beale Endowed Professor in Health Facilities Design and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture, Texas A&M University. He also serves as the Associate Director of the Center for Health Systems & Design (CHSD). Dr. Lu’s research interests include applying emerging technologies to health design and research, healthcare design, senior facilities, and healthy communities and cities. He teaches graduate and undergraduate lecture and design studio courses focusing on Design for Health. Dr. Lu has broad connections in international communities of healthcare design professionals. He is a Member of the International Union of Architects-Public Health Group (UIA-PHG), representing the U.S.
