Dr. Sang Hyeon Kang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Entrepreneurial Engineering and Engineering Management at Western Michigan University. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Industrial Manufacturing and Systems Engineering at Iowa State University in 2024. Dr. Kang's research interests include spine biomechanics, biomechanical modeling, intervention effectiveness research, and physical-cognitive interaction. He has +10 publications in the refereed, archival journal literature. He has worked on six sponsored projects, including projects in the office workstations, the last-mile service industry, the agriculture industry, and the home appliance manufacturing industry.
