Maria Fields is a PhD student and Rackham Merit Fellow in the Industrial and Operations Engineering Department advised by Professor Yili Liu at the University of Michigan. Her research interests focus on human factors issues in modern technology such as Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), including both usability issues and the societal impacts of technology.
