Dr. Changwon Son, PhD, CSP is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial, Manufacturing, & Systems Engineering at Texas Tech University. He is the director of Safety, Human factors, And Resilience Engineering (SHARE) lab where he conducts a variety of innovative safety research projects. Dr. Son received several prestigious awards including Early-career Research Fellowship from National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine Gulf Research Program, Emerging Leader of Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, Young Talent of Resilience Engineering Association, and George T. And Gladys Abell-Hanger Faculty Excellence Award. Dr. Son also has over seven years of industry experience with occupational safety and process safety.
