Angie Avera
Biography
Angie Avera is a UX research leader with a background in health, fitness, and wearable technology. She currently leads UX research for the Peloton app portfolio, managing a team of researchers and partnering across product, design, and engineering to shape thoughtful, user-centered digital experiences. Her work spans app growth, monetization, progress tracking, gaming, and most recently, the launch of a strength-focused app—Peloton’s first 0 to 1 app build, in this space. Prior to Peloton, Angie was a Human Factors Engineer at Apple, where she worked on wireless technologies, hardware ergonomics, and inclusive design for older adults. She holds an MA in Human Factors Psychology from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and a BS in Human Development from the University of Texas.
