Bonnie Satinover

Biography
Bonnie Satinover provides leadership in establishing and achieving simulation-based education that aligns with strategic organizational outcomes and improves patient safety and outcomes. Her nursing background is in Neonatal Intensive Care, Perianesthesia, and Nursing Education and Professional Development. She has been working at Advocate Health for over twenty years and joined the Simulation Team six years ago. Bonnie collaborates with site and system partners to plan, develop, implement, and facilitate many simulation-based programs including an ECMO training program in response to COVID-19, Family Medicine Residents curriculum, various unit monthly interprofessional programs, and Rapid Cycle Deliberate Practice Neonatal Resuscitation Program. She works closely with hospital leaders, Patient Safety, and Risk Departments to share identified latent safety threats for patient care and teammates. Bonnie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Nursing Administration from Lewis University.
