Mary E. Johnson, Ph.D. is a Professor and the Associate School Head for Graduate Studies and Research for the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology at Purdue University. Her research interests focus on aviation safety, data analysis, strategic justifications of technology implementations, and operations performance improvements in Airports, General Aviation, and Helicopter Air Ambulance. Recent work is in incorporation of electric propulsion and hydrogen propulsion, and in airport operations for HAA, eVTOL, and other new technologies.
