Biography
Xiang Chang is a Master’s student in Connective Media at Cornell Tech, focusing on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), and autonomous vehicle. Prior to Cornell, he worked as a research assistant at HKUST and Tsinghua University where he conducted studies on pedestrian-AV interaction and gesture-based external human-machine interface. His research integrates quantitative and qualitative analyses of multimodal data in real-world and simulation-based environments. He is actively looking for potential PhD positions (2026 fall).
