Dorrit Billman

Biography
Dorrit Billman's research addresses complex cognitive work, including work analysis, interaction design, and training. At NASA she has worked in both space and aviation human factors. She currently studies pilots' contribution to aviation safety, particularly, training of the underlying skills and knowledge. She previously worked at PARC and served on the faculties of Georgia institute of Technology and the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Michigan.
