Biography
Nikita Islam is a Biomedical Sciences student at the University of Central Florida, passionate about advancing healthcare through research and community service. Currently working as a pharmacy technician and clinical volunteer at AdventHealth, she is preparing for a future career in medicine. Her research focuses on neurolinguistics, specifically investigating language switching in bilinguals using EEG technology. Beyond academics and research, Nikita serves as the Public Relations Representative for UCF’s Asian Pacific American Coalition and as the social media Director for Village Mentor. This international nonprofit supports children's education through online mentoring. Through these diverse experiences, she builds a strong foundation to become a compassionate and globally minded physician.
