Lorenzo Barberis Canonico

Biography
President of Cassandra Labs, a nonprofit that builds public-goods prediction markets and other collective-intelligence tools. He earned his PhD in Human-Centered Computing at Clemson University, where he explored machine learning, biostatistics, and group decision-making. As a research scientist in Stanford’s Department of Biomedical Data Science, he applied data-driven methods to genomics and drug discovery. Lorenzo’s work now focuses on human-AI negotiation, market design, and making science more reproducible.
