Paul Ritchey

Biography
Paul Ritchey is a Senior Test Project Leader for the Consumer Experience and Usability Research Team at Consumer Reports (CR), the nonprofit consumer research, testing, and advocacy organization. Drawing from his academic training in physical ergonomics and human computer interaction, he designs and leads summative ergonomic and usability assessments of consumer products, from massage guns and ergonomic chairs to insect repellents and smart product apps. His work is published on CR’s website and print magazine, providing US consumers with actionable information to help them make informed decisions about which products they purchase. Paul did his doctoral work at Texas A&M University in Epidemiology and Environmental Health focusing on Occupational Health and has his master's from the applied human factors psychology program at University of Houston-Clear Lake.
