Anushree Vaidya

Biography
Anushree Vaidya is a Master’s student in Health Technology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she explores the intersection of neuroscience, human-centered design, and artificial intelligence. Her research focuses on neuroadaptive decision-support systems using EEG, reinforcement learning, and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS). She previously led projects on early detection of neurodegenerative diseases through acoustic biomarkers and developed closed-loop seizure detection systems. Anushree’s work aims to bridge biomedical engineering with cognitive tech to build intelligent, personalized interfaces for health and performance optimization.
