Biography
Cindy von Ahlefeldt is a Ph.D. student in Human Factors and Cognitive Psychology at the University of Central Florida. She holds a Master’s degree in Behavioral and Brain Sciences, where she developed a strong foundation in psychological research, cognitive science, and human behavior. Her research focuses on how social media use intersects with stress, motivation, and well-being, with an emphasis on understanding digital behavior through structural equation modeling and psychophysiological methods. Cindy’s interdisciplinary background bridges human factors, media psychology, and mental health research. She has presented her work at national conferences. Cindy is passionate about applying research to real-world challenges, intending to promote healthier digital environments and improve psychological resilience in everyday life.
