Selene Mak

Biography
Selene Mak, PhD, MPH is a health services researcher and core investigator at the VA Greater Los Angeles HealthCare System Center for the Study of Healthcare Implementation, Innovation and Policy (CSHIIP). Her research focuses on understanding how individuals apply and use patient-generated health data from consumer-grade wearable devices to inform the design of human-centered interventions aimed at improving health-related quality of life and health outcomes. She serves as multiple principal investigator for several clinical improvement projects funded by the VA Office of Connected Care to develop a workflow for integrating various types of patient-generated health data into applied clinical settings.
