Ekim Koca is a PhD student at the University of Virginia studying Systems Engineering with a focus in Human Factors Engineering. Her primary research interests are inclusive design, accessibility, and human performance modelling. She also holds a
bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and a masters in industrial engineering from the University of Michigan. She has also been a contributor to the Human Factors
Engineering Short Course for the last 5 years.
