Biography
Eliot Winer received the B.S. degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA, in 1992, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY, USA, in 1992 and 1994, respectively. He is currently a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and the Director of the VRAC Research Center, Iowa State University, Ames, IA, USA. His research interests include large-scale collaborative design methods, as well as analysis, visualization, and interaction with large datasets and extended reality. His recent publications include articles in the International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Expert Systems With Applications, and IEEE Access.
