I am a first-year undergraduate student at the University of Calgary, currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science Combined Degree in Computer Science and Biological Sciences. My primary research focus revolves around the intersection between medical applications and computer systems, particularly in the realm of Artificial Intelligence, in an effort to advance modern patient care.
Being a part of the Human factors, Ergonomics, Realtime-AI, and Optimization (HERO) Lab team at the University of Calgary, I work under the supervision of Dr. Junho Park. I am currently leading a project that focuses on creating an adjustable Ankle-Foot Orthosis (AFO) through Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Additionally, my research contribution in the HERO Lab extends to working as part of the software team on two projects: a Multi-Agent System (MAS) for remote care and a quantum mechanical model for trust analysis. Additionally, outside of the HERO Lab, I am also an assistant coach for the Glenmore Gymnastic Club, where I specialize in sensory-friendly assisted gymnastics sessions for children with disabilities.
My aim is to utilize my current experiences and knowledge to propel myself in the medical world by pursuing a career as a cardiac surgeon.
