Andrea Macedo Salas is a Ph.D student in Human Factors and Applied Cognition at North Carolina State University. Her research interests lie in healthcare design and human factors, focusing on improving user-centered systems and environments to enhance patient safety and provider performance. She is passionate about applying human factors principles to real-world healthcare challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based design.
