Gillian Slade is a second-year Master of Health Sciences (Kinesiology) student at Ontario Tech University. She has been actively involved in research since the second year of her undergraduate studies, conducting her work in the Occupational Neuromechanics and Ergonomics (ONE) Lab under the supervision of Dr. Nicholas La Delfa. Her research focuses on biomechanics, with a particular interest in upper-limb demands and neuromuscular fatigue during occupational tasks. Upon completion of her master’s, she plans to pursue a PhD specializing in shoulder biomechanics.
