Pratima Saravanan
Biography
Dr. Pratima Saravanan is an Assistant Professor in the School of Industrial Engineering and Management at Oklahoma State University, where she directs the Cognitive Performance Lab. Her research centers on modeling cognitive performance in high-stakes professions, leveraging physiological sensors and behavioral data. Her work aims to enhance safety and decision-making in environments such as healthcare, aviation, and emergency response. Prior to joining OSU, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Health Data Science and Analytics at Houston Methodist Hospital. Dr. Saravanan earned her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering (2021) and MS in Bioengineering (2018) from the Pennsylvania State University.
