Carlo Caponecchia (He/Him) is an Associate Professor at The University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney, Australia. Carlo is Associate Dean Equity Diversity and Inclusion in the Faculty of Science UNSW. He has a background in psychology and works in Human Factors and Safety across several domains. He has particular interest and expertise in psychosocial risks and safe systems of work. Carlo is part of the International Standards Organisation Technical Committee 283 responsible for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. He is the Past President of the International Association on Workplace Bullying and Harassment. Carlo was awarded the 2024 Ron Cumming Medal recognising excellence in human factors research and practice from the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia (HFESA).
