Biography
Dr. Shiyang Su is an Assistant Professor in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology program at the University of Central Florida. Her research centers on employee well-being, adaptability, and workplace deviance, with a focus on capturing their dynamics and variability over time through advanced longitudinal modeling. She also applies modern psychometric techniques to improve measurement practices and leverages machine learning to explore complex datasets in I/O psychology.

Dr. Su has published in leading journals including Journal of Management, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, Journal of Business and Psychology, Journal of World Business, and Harvard Business Review. Her work has been supported by over $1 million in external funding from agencies such as the Army Research Institute, Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. She directs the Psychometrics Lab at UCF and holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and an M.S. in Statistics from the University of Minnesota.
