Biography
Ancuta (Anna) Margondai is a doctoral student in Modeling and Simulation at the University of Central Florida, with a research focus on cognitive science, artificial intelligence, and human factors. She holds graduate certificates in Cognitive Sciences and Mixed Reality Engineering and is completing a second master's degree in Mathematical Science. Anna's work spans bilingual cognitive processing, emotion-aware AI interventions, and decision-making under pressure, with presentations at SEPA, MODSIM World, and I/ITSEC. She is also a member of the Order of the Engineer and has received multiple academic awards, including the I/ITSEC Scholarship and Burnett Honors Undergraduate Thesis Scholarship. Anna combines technical skills in Python, R, and simulation platforms like Unity and Arena with a passion for advancing human-AI collaboration and understanding the evolution of human agency in the age of intelligent systems.
