Biography
I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Calgary, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a major in Software Engineering and a minor in Biomedical Engineering. My research interests lie at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, and Human Factors Engineering, particularly within medical contexts. I am passionate about exploring how emerging technologies can enhance healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes.
As a research assistant in the Human Factors, Ergonomics, Realtime-AI, and Optimization (HERO) Lab under the supervision of Dr. Junho Park, I am leading a project focused on developing Quantum Trust Models for Human-AI collaboration. Beyond this, I contribute to additional lab projects, including work on a Multi-Agent System (MAS) for remote healthcare support and the development of an adjustable Ankle-Foot Orthosis (AFO) through AI-driven solutions.
Outside of my research activities, I am actively engaged with campus organizations such as BMERIT, where I work as part of the software team on initiatives geared toward advancing medical technologies. My broader academic and extracurricular pursuits are all geared toward my long-term ambition of entering the field of medicine and ultimately becoming a radiologist, blending my background in engineering, AI, and human-centred design to shape the future of medical care.
