Bradley Duerstock is a Professor of Practice in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering and Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University. His research focuses on improving the independence, productivity, health, and quality of life of individuals with disabilities using biomedical or rehabilitation engineering solutions. In 2022 he co-led the Purdue EASI RIDER team to win the $1 million first place prize for the US DOT Inclusive Design Challenge on accessible autonomous transportation. He is codirector of the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center on Physical Access and Transportation for People with Disabilities, called Mobility Options for Various Environments in Transportation (RERC-MOVE IT).
