Biography
Nandhini Manikandan is an Industrial and Systems Engineering Ph.D. student specializing in Human Factors and Cognitive Sciences, focusing on Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), micro-interactions in autonomous vehicles (AVs), and human-centered artificial intelligence (AI). Her research explores how humans interact with intelligent systems to improve trust, safety, and efficiency in automation and artificial intelligence.
