Biography
David Newton is an Engineering Research Psychologist with the Aerospace Human Factors Research Division of the FAA Civil Aerospace Medical Institute. David investigates emerging civil aviation technologies and operations, including flight deck head worn displays, enhanced and synthetic vision, and reduced-crew operations, to quantify their impacts on flight crew performance and aviation safety. David received his Ph.D. and M.A. in Experimental Psychology – Human Factors from Texas Tech University and his B.A in Psychology from Westminster College, Missouri.
