Lauren Gandall

Biography
Lauren Gandall is a graduate student at San Jose State University, pursuing a degree in Human Factors and Ergonomics. Her primary interests lie in healthcare, with a particular focus on medical devices and interventions. With a background in psychology, Lauren has experience working in therapeutic settings, providing services to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She is now dedicated to bridging the gap between therapeutic interventions and human factors. Her most recent research explores the use of virtual reality (VR) as an intervention for children with ASD and its effects. Lauren is passionate about continuing her research to enhance the experiences of individuals with disabilities through the lens of human factors.
