Improving Learning Among Children with ADHD Through AI-Powered Tools
SessionPoster Session 2
DescriptionChildren diagnosed with ADHD often face unique challenges in traditional educational environments that are not designed for their needs. This literature review explores how artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to support and enhance learning for students with ADHD. Specifically, it examines AI-powered tools that use gamification and personalized learning strategies to improve focus, engagement, and academic outcomes. Research shows that adaptive technologies such as intelligent tutoring systems, gamified cognitive training apps, and real-time feedback tools can help children with ADHD by making learning more interactive, motivating, and tailored to individual needs. These AI innovations not only boost academic performance but also contribute to greater self-esteem and social participation. This presentation highlights key findings from recent studies and discusses recommendations for integrating AI tools into educational settings in ways that are supportive, ethical, and inclusive.
