SessionPoster Session 1
DescriptionStatistically, many individuals are impacted every year by distracted driving. Moreover, individuals with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder are more prone to being involved in more accidents, tickets, and citations. Individuals with ADHD often have difficulty focusing on tasks and it may affect their concentration while driving a motor vehicle. In this study, we focus on how drivers with ADHD are an “at-risk” population by utilizing a driving simulator and physiological measures while texting and calling participants with and without ADHD.
