An Evaluation of an In-Cabin Driver Alertness Recovery Experience using EEG
DescriptionThis paper presents the use of Electroencephalograms (EEG) to evaluate a novel in-cabin driver engagement experience. This research is part of a broader project at Ford Motor Company to develop a physiological sensor-based method to integrate EEG and other physiological signals such as (Electrocardiogram (ECG)) for real-time evaluation of driver state and wellbeing. The insights derived from this analysis are directly relevant to understanding and mitigating factors such as driver fatigue, stress levels, vigilance, and cognitive load.
